Every Third Thursday in Old Sacramento Waterfront, small business owners will open their doors to give you a peek behind the curtain, hosting 15-20 minute-long live demonstrations and artist activations at the top of every hour from 4–8 p.m.

4th of July Boat Parade
The Sacramento Yacht Club

The Sacramento Yacht Club will be hosting a “Red, White & Crew” Boat Parade along the Sacramento River on Friday, July 4th at 1:30 PM. The parade will start at the Sacramento Marina and travel upriver through Old Sacramento to the Virgin Sturgeon Restaurant and back. This is a great friends and family event for all ages.

Artists Maggie Gomez-Devos and Raul Mejia present an eco-friendly tribute to Frida with a multimedia art exhibition and special birthday reception. 

VIVA LA FRIDA is a fusion of art, music, and fashion experience with complimentary wine. Local artists Maggie Gomez-Devos and Raul Mejia (Soytiger) showcase vibrant mixed-media works driven by the legendary Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo. This reception celebrates Frida Kahlo’s July birthday by highlighting her influence through art and fashion.
